What is a credit?
One credit is one character of script, including spaces and punctuation. Pause markers are free. About 900 characters make a minute of narration. See how credits are counted.
Is this a subscription?
No. Credit packs are one-time purchases and never renew automatically. You only pay again if you choose to buy another pack. Every account receives 10,000 free credits on the 1st of each month.
Do credits expire?
Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from purchase. Free monthly credits are valid until the end of the month they are granted in. We always use the credits that expire soonest first.
What if a generation fails?
If a voiceover can't be generated, it is marked as failed and its credits go straight back to your balance. You never pay for failed generations.
What is your refund policy?
You can request a full refund of any credit pack within 14 days of purchase, provided you have used less than half of its credits. See the Refund Policy.
Can I use the audio commercially on any plan?
Yes, including on the free plan, within our Acceptable Use Policy.
Who processes payments?
Payments are processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record, which handles checkout, calculates and collects applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues receipts and invoices. VoiceoverWise never sees or stores your card details. More on our security page.
Is there a plan for large volumes?
Packs can be combined, and credits work across the studio, bulk mode and the API. For very large volumes, contact us.
